The School of St Jude is a 100% charity-funded education institution that provides free, high-quality primary and secondary scholarships to 1,800 of the poorest and brightest students in the Tanzanian region of Arusha.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with potential visitors via email prior to their arrival
Drafting itineraries; organising activities and logistics and booking buses
Greeting visitors and looking after all their needs and following the proposed itinerary during their stay.

Attend weekly meetings to discuss upcoming visitors and logistics
Liaising with academic staff and office staff in the organisation of various activities
Participate and support fellow staff in school mission related activities such as all school Celebration Days and Child Selection logistics.
Ensure all visitor correspondence is sent in a timely and professional manner, with up to date information and record into the database
Ensure all visitors are looked after in a professional yet relaxed manner during their visit
Ensure all visitors leave feeling enthusiastic about St Jude’s and with a basic knowledge of what the school is all about.
Other Duties:
Participate and support fellow staff in school mission related activities such as all School Celebration Days throughout the year.
Participate in student selection process, in particular working after hours on rest days and public holidays up to 20 Saturdays per annum.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, Manager and the Employer.
Qualification, Skills and Competence:
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management or any other any relevant course
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook
An energetic and friendly attitude with the ability to be flexible, patient, personable, easy going and conduct yourself in a professional manner
Strong inter-personal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong time management skills
