2018/19 School Year
We are seeking applications for this teaching position which starts on 1st August 2018.

Learning Support Teacher
A learning support teacher to coordinate all learning support provided to students on one campus. This teacher will also work with individual students and small groups to implement their individual education plans. Qualifications and experience in this area are essential. Previous experience of the IB programmes would be an advantage but is not required.
Application ProceduresAny applications for either Moshi or Arusha Campus should include a full CV/résumé and the names and addresses (including e-mail addresses) of two professional referees. It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you; we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age who have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
As a minimum requirement, all applicants for teaching positions must have a first degree and a teaching qualification that entitles them to teach in their home country. International teaching experience is also desired.
The school also uses placement agencies to assist in our search for strong teaching candidates. However we encourage direct applications and will not be liable for agency placement fees when teachers contact us directly through this website.
Applications for positions should be made by email to:

or in writing to
The Director, International School Moshi, PO Box 733, Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
