JOB TITLE: PR(Public Relations) and Marketing Officer
LOCATION: Dar es Salaam
REPORTING LINE: Coordinator TADIO

Job brief: We are seeking a Public Relations (PR) and Marketing Officer to develop a young and strong media network, increase awareness of the public and establish an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs, coordinate and update TADIO website (Community RadioOn-line Portal and other online channel) and by securing partnerships with local and national advertisers to diversify incomes of the network on a revenue sharing basis.
A/ Main roles and responsibilities
The Public Relations Manager / Marketing Officer of TADIO shall have all his duties agreed with the coordinator and will report directly to him. His main responsibilities will be the following:
• Creating and leading a marketing, fundraising and communication strategy;
• Assess and understand the Market needs of each Community Radio members of the network, as
well as the networks needs in terms of Public Relations and Marketing and propose and develop adequate partnerships to them;
• Development of marketing materials for the organization;
• Establishing partnerships with advertisers, NGOs, development agencies and national institutions;
• Securing contracts and revenue, and assisting with project proposals writings for resource mobilization;
• Coordinate all public relations activities;
• Prepare content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations;
• Assess opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships for the organization;
• IT administrative support, particularly knowledge and database management;
• Management and monitoring of the organization’s website and other social media platforms;
• Ensure proper use of the organization’s facilities e.g. recording studio for income generation;
B/ Education
Academic Qualifications required

• BA, MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline;
• Certificate /Diploma in Mass communication, journalism.

C/ Experience
Required

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Public relations and in Marketing positions in Civil Society Organisation’s and / or NGO’s involved in social and economic development of
rural areas in Tanzania. Desired
• Proven working experience in public relations;
• Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both, local and national level;
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets;
• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media;
• Exceptional writing and editing skills;
• Solid experience with social media including website, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Event planning experience; Other attributes:

JOB TITLE: Finance and Administrative Officer TADIO

Job Brief
: We are seeking for an experienced Finance and Administrative Officer to lead the administrative and financial aspects of a young and strong media network that promotes community media in Tanzania by increasing awareness to the public and by fostering access to information to remote communities through community and local radio’s.

A/ Main roles and responsibilities
The Finance and Administrative Officer of TADIO shall have all his duties agreed with the Board and will report directly to the coordinator and inform regularly the board on administrative and financial issues. His main responsibilities will be the following:
• Overall TADIO’saccountancy;
• Be the chief administrative and financial adviser of TADIO;
• Provide support to the coordinator to develop budget proposals;
• Prepare all financial reports of TADIO;
• Contribute to define Revenue distribution for all TADIO members;
• Maintenance of all documentation related to banking and financial issues;
• Maintenance of all periodic subscription fees for the organization;
• Custodian of all financial records, receipts and accounting books;
• Ensure adherence to proper accounting procedures;
• Ensure proper financial controls;
• Ensure proper accounting systemsand procedures (manuals and policies) are in place and
used: Administration, Accounting and Finance, HR and procurement, equipment
maintenance (specially office assets and Production Studio equipment);
• Liaise with staff and volunteers about financial matters;
• Follow up and liaise with all TADIO CR members (More than 30 CR members) on all
administrative issues and obligations as members of the network.
B/ Education
Academic Qualifications required
• Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
• MA degree is an added advantage
• Registered under NBAA or other relevant recognized Account Boards
C/ Experience
Required

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in administrative and financial management in the private sector, Civil Society Organisation’s and / or NGO’s.
Desired
• Ability to link financial and non-financial resources during implementation of the day to day activities of the organisation’s laid down plan;
• Ability to read, understand, interpret and implement the organisation strategic plan;
• Innovation – ability to come with new ideas for improvement in the work areas as well as in the accounting tasks;
• Knowledge of different accounting packages;
• proficiency in IT is an added advantage;
• Self-motivation & proven Credibility/Integrity in his /her professional experience;

To reinforce our regional department and performance, we are looking for hands-on manager that can manage 5 to 8 E-Hubbs, actively engaged in the day to day coordination of sales activities, promotions and activations, reinforcing sales, stock management, reporting and all other cluster matters. Responsibilities
We are now looking for a candidate who:
  • Actively manage a cluster and be a coordination between the head office and the particular cluster he is assigned to. Ensure that reports are sent on time and all company policies and standards are adhered and communicated to the kiosk operators that will be managed by him/her
  • Lead the Kiosk operators especially on supervising the quality of the work, keenness and commitment of the Kiosk operator and identify key training areas if need be.
  • Conceives and implement sales initiatives in the cluster that is assigned to him/her so that sales targets are achieved
  • Manages and motivates kiosk operators who are contracted by the company
  • Suggests to the supervisor on promotion ideas in order to improve sales depending on the market needs.
  • Constantly follows up with all issues in the cluster such as cleanliness, theft, timely opening and closing of the kiosk, licenses are up to date in the cluster he/she manages
  • Reports to the Regional Manager of the company
  • Has very good business acumen
