Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas
  • Support the Management Team in their day to day activities (ticketing, room reservation, take the morning meeting minutes e.t.c.)
  • Welcoming guests at the reception and answering the phone calls
  • Maintain and update the customer database
  • Maintain and update pricing database.
  • Consolidate information for preparation of the end of month newsletters.
  • Prepare and propose sales quotations to management and follow up for approval.
  • Analyzing trip cost.
  • Enhancing the customer experience
  • Identifying and applying for tenders/ business opportunities
  • Office supplies procurement
  • Handle petty cash when required
  • Assist the finance and BD team on any purpose when needed
  • Any other task assigned to you
Training/Education/ Experience
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • At least 1 year relevant work experience

Knowledge & Skills
International exposure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivation, leadership and innovation.
Excellent written English

Admin and Business Development

1. Overall Purpose
  • To support Alistair Logistics operations such that administrative objectives are met at the required work performance standard and in accordance with company behaviours and values.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant Tanzanian legislation

2. Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas
  • Reception
    • Greets office visitors and personnel in a friendly and sincere manner
  • Administration
    • Prepare original POD documents and send invoices/ fedex them. Send copies to accounts.
    • Dispatch cheques to company suppliers.
    • Welcoming guests at the reception and answering the phone calls
    • Maintaining office filling for documents and ensuring safe custody
    • Ensure all due diligence for the company and all vehicles, motorcycles, trucks and trailers is updated on time.
    • Follow up with clearing agent to ensure timely release of imported items at the port
    • Maintain office equipment, stationery and consumables
    • Receiving company guests, arranging for their transport and accommodation.
  • Business Development
    • Maintain and update the customer database
    • Maintain and update pricing database.
    • Prepare and propose sales quotations to management and follow up for approval.
    • Enhancing the customer experience

Bachelor of Business Administration
